Carnival!

Last Friday, Erin's elementary school had a carnival! It was quite fun. There was food (we had Teriyaki Stix chicken bowls...not the greatest, but ok) and games (I tried the game where I pitched a softball and had to guess my speed). It was fun to see a bunch of Erin's students. There also was a stage where kids performed a la American Idol. They'd go up on stage, sing any song they wanted, and then three kids would "critique" their performance, as though they were American Idol judges. It was cute! The best part, however, was the dunk tank! Erin, being one of the faculty, had the opportunity of being dunked for 15 minutes! It was one of those tanks where the student threw a softball, and if it hit the target, down she went! She got dunked 4 times, maybe, in her 15 minutes. A couple of her students came and tried to dunk her--it was fun. I had run out of tickets by that time, or else I would have tried to get her as well. Good times for all!
